  8. Hi there. Just wanted to say thanks for doing this! I never expected that anyone would translate The Air Moon and am enjoying the insight it provides into the beginnings of the Moon Project immensely. I’m looking forward to reading the rest!

    • Hi Scott, thanks for stopping by! Honestly I wasn’t sure if there would be any interest in this since the book is 10 years old now, but the response has been good. Updates will be slow in coming, but I always put the next bit’s ETA here on the Table of Contents page for readers’ convenience. ^_^b

  12. Thank you so so much for doing this. Currently I’m about to copypaste it into a pretty doc for myself so that I can print it easily and read it any time without PC. Don’t worry, I’ve properly put credits in, just in case anyone was to get their hands on my print *lol*

    It’s really a ton of work. And even while I just looked here and there while editing the layout, I’m already so excited to read this!! I really hope you can keep it up till the very end! ❤ Please, by all means, don't let yourself be discouraged by eventual lack of comments. The more time passes by the more people get interested in digging up the old stuff. Also, once I've read this myself I'll make sure to spread word of it :3

    Btw. I guess you have a *docx file yourself, but if suddenly you don't (or it gets lost) please definitely feel free to poke me!!!

    • Hi, Kat, thanks for stopping by and commenting!

      You’re welcome! And thank you for putting credits on your personal, printed copy. Please do keep it close to you. The last thing I want is for someone to start making copies and selling them for profit. I pay to make this blog ad-free so that it’s clear that I’m not making a single penny off of this. (Well, doing this probably helped me land some jobs in the sense that it made me a better translator, but that was an indirect effect.)

      Currently I hold two jobs and am in graduate school, which is why the updates have been slow in coming. But I do intend to keep going till the end, even if it ends up taking 10 years and yours is the last comment this ever gets. It took me nearly 10 years from the time I purchased the book to the time when I was finally good enough at Japanese to read it fluently, so what’s another decade at this point? ^o^

      Glad you brought up the Word file. I actually don’t have any of this backed up anywhere. I type it straight into WordPress as I go, because that way I know that the formatting will be correct for the web from the beginning. But you never know when Godzilla might appear and destroy WordPress’s servers or something. I should have a back-up too. ^o^;

      Happy reading!
