I had been translating the relevant miko blogs for each song, but as very few people are seeing this, and I can’t be sure the people who have landed on exist†trace translations were actually looking for that since no one has left comments on them and everyone’s making their Google search terms private, I’ve decided to just focus on getting the lyrics up instead. For this song in particular, miko didn’t say much about it anyway. Only that the mix was changed a lot for the album version, and that it’s the “easiest to understand” of all the songs on the album. ^1. I’m not sure what the subject is supposed to be here. It could also be “If you don’t just leave it [=thinking about breaking out of the aquarium] as escapism, you’ll shatter the aquarium.” But given the previous line, I’m tempted to think that these two lines are meant to be the argument of the captives who don’t have the guts to break out. So they’re saying, “Just have fun, don’t expect anything, because you’ll break if you take action instead of just fantasizing about it.” That’s my interpretation anyway. ⤴
